Shore: How We See the Sea

Tour Producer & Curator

Dec 2017 - May 2019

Scottish producer of a high profile film tour to nine coastal communities for London-based arts and science organisation Invisible Dust.

Shore: How We See The Sea was an ambitious visual arts and science project reflecting Scotland’s coastal communities’ responses to Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).

Aimed at inspiring conversation around our relationship with the sea, Invisible Dust commissioned two new works from leading filmmakers Margaret Salmon and Ed Webb-Ingall, shot on 35mm and digital video respectively in close proximity to MPAs on the west coast of Scotland. The subsequent Scottish tour screened the films and I curated activity around the screenings in collaboration with project partners with LUX Scotland and Scottish Association for Marine Science.
